Capto

Use the Capto puller clamps to give the operators the ease and comfort to install Paper Machine Clothing faster, safer and with less effort.

Our thanks to Feltest for a product of great improvement! We reduce the time to load and unload felt in the machine by about 15 minutes per product!

TensioMaster

TensioMaster 2.jpg

TensioMaster

Paper Machine Clothing tension affects the machine speed, sheet properties, fabric wear and the total machine runnability. The TensioMaster is a precision instrument that measures the tension in running forming fabrics, press felts and dryer screens.

Felt and wire tension is extremely important especially for drainage. I always endorse this to people.
— Richie G. (UK)

SpeedController

SpeedController - Orange Button on Screen.jpg

SpeedController

The SpeedController reads and stores the measurement data of both the AirSpeed and TrueSpeed Sensor, a two in one control unit for both sensors.

The SpeedController is Feltest’s first internet connected device, and the start of many interesting things to come.
— Marcel Lensvelt

TrueSpeed Sensor

TrueSpeed Sensor set.jpg

TrueSpeed Sensor

Measure what matters: the surface speed. Detect slipping rolls and reduce machine clothing wear, and reduce input errors and hard-to-find runnability problems. The TrueSpeed Sensor makes measuring easy, quick and dependable!

The combination of a Caliper Profiler and an AirSpeed is extremely powerful when assessing press felts.
— Marcel Lensvelt

AirSpeed Sensor

AirSpeed Sensor

Permeability is key to understanding your felt’s condition. The Feltest AirSpeed Sensor helps you better plan your machine downtime, use the right amount of felt cleaning agents, and troubleshoot any performance problems.

The combination of a Caliper Profiler and an AirSpeed is extremely powerful when assessing press felts.

RealVac

Realvac 2.jpg

RealVac

Easily compare the vacuum on both tender and drive side of the machine. Find a discrepancy? Take away the cause (like contamination inside the uhle box, piping lay-out, location of the valve) and use the RealVac to confirm your fix was successful.

A broken manometer on the uhle box? No problem, with the RealVac I always have my own portable manometer with me.
— Sven D. (Sweden)

Caliper Profiler

Caliper Profiler

Measure the thickness (caliper) of forming fabrics and press felts on the fly to determine their remaining life at any time.

Poor press dewatering? The Caliper Profiler helps to differentiate felt compaction, contamination and wear as the main cause of the problem.

The combination of a Caliper Profiler and an AirSpeed is extremely powerful when assessing press felts.

Carbon Paper for nip impressions

Carbon paper detail.jpg

Carbon Paper

Quickly find errors in individual rolls or the entire press system with Feltest Carbon Paper for nip impressions. The Carbon Paper changes color as soon as the threshold is exceeded.

A practical and affordable tool for nip analysis.
— Matthias K. (Germany)

Fujifilm for nip impressions

Fuji Prescale two Sheet with tire print.jpg

Fuji film for nip impressions

Most mills use Fuji Pressure Sensitive Film to detect non-uniform load distribution in the press section, the size press and the calendar. Or use it to check the winding quality of the re-winder and gaskets of the steam and condensate system.

Thanks to the easy to interpret changes in color intensity we found defects in the rubber roll cover.
— Rob S. (USA)

PocketStrobe LED

PocketStrobe LED

The PocketStrobe LED is the PowerStrobe’s little brother, the ideal tool for a fast visual inspection of the forming table, trim squirts, HP showers and the sheet edges. Freeze the moment and get the insight you are looking for.

Fits in your pocket, 100% waterproof and very affordable - the PocketStrobe LED is perfect for a quick inspection.
— Marcel Lensvelt

FiberScanONE

FS1 compleet.jpg

FiberScanONE

Monitor, analyze and optimize the drainage process by measuring the amount of water on the forming fabric after each dewatering element. The FiberScanONE allows you to measure the effect of trials with different forming fabric designs, fabric wear, machine settings and chemical dosages.

Definitely the best replacement of the radio-active gamma gauge.
— Giovanni C. (Italy)

Coming soon: TensioPlus

Tensio+Feltest (3).jpg

Tensio+ will become TensioPlus

The Feltest TensioPlus is currently being developed to digitally measure paper machine clothing tension - completely ruling out the operator influence and enabling full width tension profiles.

As vital components are no longer manufactured, the ‘old’ Tensio+ is no longer available today.

There is a clear demand for tension measurements that cannot be influenced by the operator.
— Marcel Lensvelt

PresScan

PresScan 4b.jpg

Aequo will replace PresScan

The Aequo will become Feltest’s answer on the papermaker’s question how his felt moisture profiles look like. Unique features of the new Aequo: compact, simple to use, robust and … very affordable!

The Aequo is still under development. Unfortunately is the PresScan no longer available as vital components are no longer being manufactured.

Aequo is latin for equal, with a nice likeness of aqua (water). I think it’s an appropriate name, as the Feltest Aequo will help papermakers to flatten the felt moisture profiles.
